Community Guidelines

4Styler’s mission is to get people stylish. For now, we have three ways you can do this:

  • Get inspiration from the styles of other users, save your inspirations and share your looks

  • Ask and give style advice

  • Manage your personal wardrobe

Our goal is to create the best fashion community in the world, where users help each other with style inspiration and refinement. The 4Styler App allows users to bring the 4Styler community into their everyday lives. We work to create a friendly community, one that feels accessible to all our members. We also strive to protect your private information, and keep you as a member free from any risk.

Our straightforward guidelines outline our user policies and explain what personal information is and is not made available through 4Styler. Members of our community may be sure that we protect their information. By using 4Styler, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, and understand that we may disable your account if you use 4Styler in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Please respect 4Styler’s Community Guidelines:

  • Post only photos that apply to 4Styler’s mission. 4Styler is resource for style and fashion. Relevant photos include: those of your overall style or “look”, outfits, single clothing items, accessories (on you or separately), and photos of mannequins dressed in clothes. Photos that do not apply to 4Styler’s base concept will be removed.

  • Please respect our members and only give style advice when it is requested. We have created a separate wall for advice seekers for this very purpose. Your followers respect your opinion, and in return we ask that you be respectful in your advice and actions towards followers and other users. Give advice only to followers who specifically ask for it, and to those who request advice on the public wall, and everyone is sure to appreciate your input. A user can request advice on a photo using a special indicator that reads “Get Advice”: if the indicator disappears, that is mean that user no longer desires advice on that photo. Please only give advice where it is clearly wanted.

  • Post only photos that you’ve taken or have the right to share. Please do not re-post any photos previously posted by other users, even if you have saved them for personal inspiration. If you have more questions about this, feel free to seek information about intellectual property rights.

  • Post photos that are appropriate for a diverse audience. We do not allow nude images. This includes photos and digitally-created content depicting sexual intercourse, genitalia, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks or female nipples. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is also forbidden. We do not allow and reserve the right to immediately delete photos that show nude or partially-nude children.

  • We do not allow the posting of any photos or digital-content which can be used to support or commend terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Offering sexual services, buying or selling illegal or prescription drugs (even if it’s legal in your region), as well as the promotion of recreational drug use are also not allowed. Remember to always follow the law when you post any images of written comments.

  • We have zero tolerance for the sharing of sexual content involving minors and for threats of posting intimate images of others.

  • We do not allow users to spam other users or to repeatedly contact them for commercial purposes without their consent.

  • Please respect other members of the 4Styler community. We want to foster a positive environment. We remove content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages. We do not allow any violence or attack on anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety aren't allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many factors when determining whether a threat is credible.

  • We do not support the coming together of those with eating disorders or who participate in cutting or other kinds of self-injury to create awareness or find support on 4Styler. We try to help people who are in this situation and protect other users. Encouraging or urging people to embrace self-injury is counter to this environment of support, and we will remove examples of such material or disable the poster’s account when such behavior is reported to us. For the protection of our users, we may also remove content identifying victims or survivors of self-injury if the content targets them maliciously.

  • We do not allow any images or content of graphic violence. In order to protect our users, we may remove images with any graphic violence to make sure 4Styler remains appropriate for everyone. Sharing graphic images for sadistic pleasure or to glorify violence is never allowed.

What can you do if someone has put the community at risk?

  • If you have an account in 4Styler and you see something you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by using the Contact Us form.  We have a strong team that works as quickly and efficiently as possible to remove content that does not meet our guidelines.

  • If you don’t have an account in 4Styler: Even if you or someone you know doesn’t have a 4Styler account, you can still file a report via Contact Us form. When you complete the report, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review the content quickly.

If you have a conflict with another user or content posted by another user:

You may find content that you don’t like but that doesn’t violate the community guidelines. If this happens, you can unfollow the person who posted it. If there's something you don't like in a comment on one of your posts, you can delete that comment.

Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your photos or videos was re-posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you can always file a copyright report so we can investigate. Or, if you believe someone is violating your trademark, you can file a trademark report. Don't target the person who posted it by posting screenshots and drawing attention to the situation because that may be classified as harassment.

To help keep the community safe, there are times when we work with law enforcement including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.

Thank you for helping us create one of the best style communities in the world.
